Office Information

Managing Shareholder

Assistant Managing Shareholder

Office Administrator

Baker Donelson's Atlanta office traces its roots to the Firm's combination with two other highly respected firms.

The combination with Kennedy Davis and Hodge (founded by Robert Kennedy) occurred in 2000, and the subsequent union with Gambrell & Stolz (founded by David H. Gambrell), was completed in 2007. Since then, our strategic vision has revolved around providing the highest quality of legal services to clients in a broad range of businesses and industries.

Today our practice runs the full gamut of business legal services, from complicated commercial litigation, to employment, real estate, health care, technology, transportation, toxic tort, and bankruptcy/restructuring and financial services, as well as sophisticated corporate transactions and compliance advice. We are leaders in the startup community, and we provide critical legal advice and resources to emerging companies. We leverage our platform to provide practical and valuable solutions to our clients' most important legal, policy, and business matters.

Our skilled attorneys are routinely recognized in national rankings including Chambers: USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America®, and Georgia Super Lawyers, as well as local publications including Georgia Trend's Legal Elite, Daily Report, and Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Baker Donelson has a significant leadership role in the civic, cultural, and philanthropic community within Atlanta. Our attorneys and staff members are active leaders, donors, and volunteers for many community organizations. We also provide extensive pro bono legal services through organizations such as Atlanta Volunteer Legal Foundation and Atlanta Legal Aid.

Baker Donelson attorneys have served in significant bar leadership roles on the local, state, and national levels. Managing Shareholder Ivy Cadle currently serves as president of the State Bar of Georgia. Additionally, we are exceptionally proud of Shareholder Linda Klein, the first woman president of the State Bar of Georgia and a past president of the American Bar Association.

We are also proud to have received numerous recognitions as an exceptional workplace, and we continue to work to foster a culture of inclusion.

Baker Donelson has established itself as a significant presence in the Atlanta legal community, with influence that extends throughout the Southeast and beyond.
