Managing Shareholder

Office Administrator

Established in 2025, Baker Donelson's Winston-Salem office strengthens the Firm's presence in the Carolinas and enhances its ability to serve clients in the Piedmont Triad and throughout North Carolina. Situated in a region with a strong concentration of higher education, health care, financial services, manufacturing, advanced materials, and emerging technology companies, the office allows us to meet the needs of organizations operating in this diverse and growing market.

Our Winston-Salem team offers significant experience in securities and corporate law, commercial real estate and construction, commercial litigation, and taxation. Working seamlessly with colleagues across the Firm, these attorneys provide practical, sophisticated, and business-focused counsel to clients ranging from emerging companies to established regional and national enterprises.

Our corporate attorneys counsel start-ups, existing businesses, fund managers, institutional investors, and financial firms on fund structuring, regulatory compliance, governance, and strategic transactions, and support clients through all stages of capital raising, mergers, and private fund formation.  They work seamlessly with other professional advisors to assist clients in achieving their objectives effectively and efficiently.

Our real estate attorneys advise on acquisitions, sales, leasing, and complex financing transactions, with particular experience in renewable energy and utility-scale solar projects, as well as growth in retail, industrial, and manufacturing sectors in the high-demand markets of the Carolinas and elsewhere.

Our litigators assist clients with a wide range of construction and commercial disputes, state administrative matters, and corporate litigation, drawing on substantial trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts and in arbitration. Their work includes insurance coverage, employment, construction, creditors' rights, and financial services matters, with notable representation of clients in the construction and financial services industries.

The Winston-Salem office is part of Baker Donelson's expanding footprint of more than 40 attorneys in the Carolinas, with other offices in Charleston, Charlotte, Columbia, and Raleigh/Research Triangle. Together, these locations provide clients with access to all of the resources of a national law firm supported by a strong regional presence.
