Mr. McGee is an associate in the Firm's Baltimore office. He assists global businesses with compliance, regulatory, transactional, and dispute-related issues involving international trade, national security, and corporate matters.
As a trusted advisor, Mr. McGee has assisted clients with customs and tariff compliance; antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) investigations; sanctions compliance; matters related to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR); Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) reviews; litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade; customs protests and ruling requests; voluntary self-disclosures; export licensing; and cargo preference, shipping, and maritime compliance matters.
Mr. McGee also supports clients on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate resolutions, commercial contracts, and other general business transactions.
While attending law school, Mr. McGee served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Richard D. Bennett of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Before law school, he was a financial risk consultant, advising clients on matters such as data migrations, fraud risk assessments, IPO preparation, and more. He also worked for the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Santiago, Chile.
