Ms. McKell represents banks and other nonbank financial institutions in a broad range of commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, asset based loans, private equity acquisition financings, mezzanine and second lien lending arrangements, and other complex finance transactions.
Ms. McKell also has experience representing creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, advising financial institutions on state and federal regulatory compliance matters, and representing lenders in loan restructurings and workouts.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. McKell practiced at a large international law firm, where she represented lenders and borrowers in various commercial finance matters, including bilateral and syndicated asset based loans and project finance transactions in the renewable energy sector.
