In this role, Tyler was responsible for coordinating and communicating with Department of Justice leadership, fostering relationships with federal and state law enforcement, and overseeing the office's most significant health care, cybercrime, public corruption, and national security enforcement actions.

Before being promoted to this executive position, Tyler prosecuted organized crime cases, with a focus on long-term, multiagency investigations that spanned the United States and into foreign countries.
