Sabrina Marquez is an associate in Baker Donelson's Baltimore office, whose practice focuses on complex, high stakes defense and investigations. She represents corporations and individuals in government investigations, enforcement and whistleblower actions, civil rights litigation, and class actions, and she regularly assists clients across multiple industries with internal investigations and regulatory compliance.
Sabrina has substantial experience defending health care providers and entities in state and federal inquiries nationwide, including matters involving alleged violations of the False Claims Act and the Anti Kickback Statute. Her litigation practice includes defending public entities and private companies in complex matters in federal court, including jury trials involving municipalities facing constitutional claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. She also has class action defense experience, including securing dismissals in product defect cases for major domestic automotive manufacturers.
Before joining Baker Donelson, Sabrina served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Douglas R. M. Nazarian of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. That experience informs her practical, court tested approach to litigation and investigations.
