Michael Fulks is an experienced transactional attorney with a practice spanning all aspects of corporate law. He advises entrepreneurs, investors, and companies of all sizes on matters including entity selection and formation, capital raising, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.

He has extensive experience representing investment advisers and private fund managers, guiding clients through fund formation, portfolio investments, and adviser acquisitions. A significant part of Michael's practice involves assisting clients in the investment management industry with their transactional and succession planning matters, including structuring internal transitions, lift-outs, sales, growth investments, and joint ventures.

Michael also maintains a robust venture capital and startup practice, supporting emerging businesses and investors with formation matters, venture financings, and complex corporate governance and securities law matters.

Michael serves as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University School of Law and is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics related to capital raising and corporate law.
