Michael is a health care litigator whose practice centers on complex commercial, trade secret, noncompete, and other litigation matters. His clients span a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on the health care, financial services, technology, and retail sectors. He guides clients through commercial and employment disputes that pose significant economic and reputational risks. Michael's practice also includes defending employers against allegations of misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, breach of contract, and restrictive covenants.

He regularly litigates in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitral proceedings before the American Arbitration Association (AAA). When litigation is unavoidable, Michael draws on his experience trying cases in court and arbitration venues. He also represents clients in white collar criminal matters, including those involving securities and government contracting in the health care, financial services, and consumer products industries.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Michael was a litigation attorney at several New York-based law firms, where he handled commercial disputes and white collar criminal matters. He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond J. Dearie of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
