Francie focuses her legal practice on her passion for education law, where she represents public, private, and charter schools, as well as charter networks and other education-related organizations in a wide range of matters. She is well versed in trial and administrative proceedings involving educational institutions, including investigations and compliance disputes related to special education, student discipline, employment, implementation, regulatory changes, and risk management. She frequently consults with school systems and education industry stakeholders on the impact of legislative and regulatory developments shaping the future of education.
Francie also has experience with commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Her background includes matters involving commercial negotiations, fraud, breach of contract, misappropriation, and other equitable remedies across a variety of industries in both state and federal courts.
Prior to law school, Francie served as a legislative aide, where she focused on education policy reform. During this time, she worked with local and federal groups to implement legislation aimed at improving educational outcomes for students at both the state and national levels. After her work in legislative affairs, Francie participated in Teach For America, where she had the opportunity to directly impact the lives of students. She leverages her unique blend of policy insight, trial experience, legal acumen, and hands-on education work to champion the rights of students, educators, and educational institutions alike.
