Ms. Gohel's practice focuses on a variety of financial and commercial transactions, ranging from asset based financing to portfolio acquisitions. She also assists with various regulatory matters, including commercial state disclosures.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Gohel was an Intellectual Property Coordinator at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she managed the university's intellectual property portfolio and negotiated, drafted, and reviewed various legal documents for consistency with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
During law school, she served as a law clerk at the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings, where she drafted decisions for the administrative law judges' review. Ms. Gohel was also a student attorney for the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she drafted patent applications and advised clients regarding business-related matters.
Ms. Gohel is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
