Professional Biography


Ms. Kilgore is an associate in Baker Donelson's Nashville office and a member of the Health Law Group.

Ms. Kilgore is highly experienced in drafting and negotiating data licensing agreements. She regularly assists clients through analyzing and providing guidance on data use questions that arise from federal and state privacy, security, and anti-competition laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act). Ms. Kilgore also drafts and negotiates various customer and vendor contracts, such as software as a service (SaaS) agreements, software technology agreements, HIPAA Business Associate Agreements, reseller agreements, master services and master relationship agreements, data processing agreements, and data use agreements. Ms. Kilgore also assists clients in investigating potential privacy and security incidents, including drafting breach notification letters, developing corrective action plans, and drafting risk assessments.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Kilgore served as in-house counsel at a health care technology company.
