Jennifer Curry, Managing Shareholder of Baker Donelson's Baltimore Office, Selected to Participate in Upcoming Maryland Daily Record Women's Perspectives Webinar

Baker Donelson, a national law firm with more than 650 attorneys and advisors, has today announced that Jennifer Curry, managing shareholder of the Firm's Baltimore office, will present as a panelist for The Daily Record's Women's Perspectives webinar titled "Power in the Workplace." The webinar will take place on December 14, 2022, at 10:00 am.

The webinar will discuss what Maryland's biggest companies have done to get women in their boardrooms and C-Suites, whether legislation to instill gender equity and to require women representation on boards has worked, and will offer advice and guidance from women who have made the climb to the top at their respective companies.

"In recent years, legislation has been introduced and many improvements have been made to ensure the advancement of women professionals, but there is more work that needs to be done," said Ms. Curry. "Encouraging and supporting women to become leaders in their workplaces will create a better community for everyone, and I hope the advice we share in this webinar will help women in all stages of their career."

Committed to supporting women in the workforce, Ms. Curry serves on the Firm's Diversity Committee and Women's Initiative, which has created programs that guarantee women attorneys equal access at every level, and created pathways to advancement and leadership. The initiative also offers women a variety of programs meant to ensure advancement and fulfillment including mentorship programs.

Ms. Curry will present alongside Lisa H. R. Hayes, Counsel at Gordon Feinblatt LLC, Erin Moran, executive director of The Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute, and Aubreana Stephenson Holder Bondorowsky, COO of Federal Management Systems Inc.
