Ida Sassani is a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Atlanta office and a litigator in the Firm's Logistics, Energy and Manufacturing Group. She represents clients in high-stakes, high-exposure "bet-the-company" litigation across the country, with a focus on the southeastern United States. Her practice concentrates on defending motor carriers, logistics providers, and transportation companies in matters involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, cargo loss, freight charge disputes, and insurance coverage.
Ms. Sassani also represents a wide range of corporate clients in premises liability claims, commercial litigation, and other complex disputes. She is known for her strategic, results-oriented approach at every stage of litigation – from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal in both state and federal courts.
Since 2022, Ms. Sassani has developed a niche in designing and leading mock trials for high-risk cases. Her work in this area helps clients and trial teams evaluate case value, test themes, and transform juror feedback into actionable trial strategy. Her growing experience in mock trials has made her a trusted resource for clients facing their most consequential legal challenges.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Sassani spent six years at a respected litigation firm in downtown Atlanta, where she focused on commercial and real estate litigation, including business torts, contract disputes, and complex commercial matters, as well as employment discrimination and wage and hour litigation.
