Eliza is a member of the Financial Services Litigation and Compliance Group and has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts across the country, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations, and arbitrations through the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Specifically, Eliza has represented financial institutions and businesses with complex commercial disputes and defended them in consumer-related litigations and class actions alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (MMWA), and various state consumer protection and deceptive business practices statutes. She also has experience with complex tax credit issues, corporate entity disputes, trademark and intellectual property issues, securities claims, and business separations.
In addition to her financial services practice, Eliza represents clients across a broad range of industries, including construction and real estate. Her work often includes commercial construction disputes involving breach of contract, retainage issues, and lien claims, as well as the enforcement of creditors' rights.
Eliza has extensive experience in prosecuting and defending temporary restraining orders, injunctions, and other equitable relief matters. She also has a background in complex asset divorces.
