Boone regularly focuses his practice on business litigation and corporate transactions matters. He represents a broad range of corporate, commercial, and individual clients in complex litigation in both federal and state courts, including business disputes, real estate matters, premises liability, products liability, breach of contract, non-compete enforcement, partnership and shareholder disputes, commercial lease litigation, lender liability, property tax appeals, and zoning or land use challenges. He manages cases from pleadings through mediation and trial, leading all aspects of litigation strategy, including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, managing expert discovery, and preparing witnesses.

In addition to his litigation practice, Boone advises business owners and individuals on entity formation and structure, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and real estate documentation such as purchase agreements and leases. He also has experience working with municipalities and counties on matters related to land use, contracts, ordinances, regulations, and council governance.

  • Obtained dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction in a breach of contract action filed by an out-of-state company.

  • Secured a favorable bench trial award for a health care services provider in a contract and reimbursement dispute, recovering damages against a competing entity.

  • Obtained a temporary injunction enforcing restrictive covenants in a high-value business contract dispute.

  • Represented corporate clients in partnership and shareholder litigation, including asserting claims for breach of fiduciary duty and mismanagement.

  • Handled commercial lease and real estate litigation for business clients, achieving favorable resolutions through negotiated settlements and dispositive rulings.
