Professional Biography


Ashley Gibson has experience handling a broad range of litigation matters. She concentrates her practice in the areas of products liability defense, professional liability, trade secret litigation, employee benefits litigation and general commercial litigation.

Ashley's professional liability experience focuses primarily on defending physicians and other health care professionals in malpractice litigation. She has also represented numerous other professionals, including engineers, accountants, and architects in professional malpractice litigation. Her product liability defense experience includes representing clients in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals and outdoor recreational equipment. Her non-ERISA employee benefits practice includes advising clients about pension benefit disputes and representing clients in related litigation.

In every area in which she practices, Ashley strives to achieve the best results for her clients at every phase of the litigation process. She has successfully secured early dismissals of lawsuits, negotiated favorable settlements for her clients, won dispositive motions, prevailed at trial, and won issues on appeal.

  • Obtained multiple summary judgment rulings in various litigation, including premises liability matters.

  • Negotiated numerous favorable settlement agreements for clients in areas ranging from personal injury litigation to general contract disputes.
