Nicole has a diverse practice assisting clients in various intellectual property litigation matters. She has substantial experience litigating patent, trademark, and copyright infringement disputes as well as unfair competition and trade secret matters. Nicole's background in complex intellectual property disputes – which often involve sophisticated legal and factual issues and strategic coordination of large-scale discovery – has also lent itself to successfully handling a variety of other complex commercial litigation matters, software disputes, antitrust cases, class actions, and appellate matters.
She litigates intellectual property and other complex disputes before district courts throughout the United States, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the United States Copyright Office. Nicole also advises clients on the identification, protection, and enforcement of intellectual property rights and has expansive experience in drafting and negotiating intellectual property license agreements, assignments, and non-disclosure agreements.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Nicole clerked for the Honorable Jon Phipps McCalla, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
