Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo: Interpretation Still Up in the Air After Recent SCOTUS Denial of Review

The United States Supreme Court declined to hear appeals from the First Circuit challenging federal agency approval of an offshore wind energy project. Appellants had asked the Court to decide whether Loper Bright required the First Circuit to engage in independent statutory interpretation. Relevant case citations are Seafreeze Shoreside Inc. v. Dep't of the Interior, U.S. No. 24-971, and Responsible Offshore Dev. All. v. Dep't of the Interior, U.S. No. 24-966.
