With a focus on creditors' rights, Trevor advocates for secured and unsecured lenders in bankruptcies, receiverships, foreclosures, loan workouts and restructurings, and collection litigation, both in and outside of formal proceedings. Additionally, he represents individuals and businesses in commercial litigation and real estate disputes.
Trevor has led financial institutions and nontraditional lenders in negotiating creative workout arrangements with borrowers to resolve distressed commercial lending relationships, and he regularly advocates to protect clients' rights in bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations. He has extensive experience handling litigation involving complex loan agreements and foreclosing on lender collateral.
Trevor negotiates and prepares loan documents for commercial real estate transactions and other asset-based lending deals. He also advises on issues involving property title, corporate authority, and due diligence.
After law school, Trevor served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Monique F. Rauls of the 9th Judicial District Court. While attending law school, he served as a judicial intern for Judge Douglas D. Dodd of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.
