Mr. Wood concentrates his practice on real estate and construction-related transactions. He represents buyers, sellers, developers, landlords, and tenants on real estate matters nationwide – including the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial, residential, and industrial properties. He has experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and subleases; managing due diligence; and guiding clients through each stage of a transaction.
He also advises project owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals on construction matters across a wide range of industries – including manufacturing, industrial, renewable energy, and multifamily, single-family, and commercial real estate development. He has experience drafting and negotiating construction and design contracts across a variety of project delivery methods, using both industry-standard forms and customized agreements. He also advises clients on regulatory compliance with respect to professional licensing.
Mr. Wood has previously served as legal vice president for a Nashville-based real estate development company.
