Robert is a commercial litigator and appellate advocate who represents clients in high-stakes business disputes, complex litigation, class actions, and appeals. He has a track record of successfully navigating companies and institutions through a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including class actions, trade secret claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, non-solicitation and non-compete matters, fraud claims, and complex breach of contract cases, as well as other matters involving significant legal exposure, novel procedural issues, and reputational risk. He regularly guides clients through all stages of litigation, from initial case assessment through strategic motion practice, trial, and appeal. He also handles matters involving injunctive relief, often in emergency situations where the success or failure of a business is at stake. Robert has substantial appellate experience in three federal circuits and Alabama's appellate courts.

Drawing on his broad litigation and appellate background, Robert aims to see the big picture, developing forward-looking strategies designed to achieve successful legal outcomes while supporting clients' long-term business objectives. In addition, he regularly assists clients navigate regulatory frameworks, recent legislative developments, and related business risks. His clients include financial services institutions, health care and dental services organizations, utilities and other regulated entities, and private corporations.
