Noah Kressler Recognized in 2019 Silicon Bayou 100

Baker Donelson is pleased to announce that Noah Kressler has been selected as a member of the 2019 Silicon Bayou 100, which recognizes the most active and influential people in tech and entrepreneurship in Louisiana today.

Mr. Kressler has a nationwide practice and regularly represents many of Louisiana's leading companies, including some of the most prominent emerging companies in the life sciences and technology industries. He is regularly sought after to provide innovative legal and financing solutions to his clients. This is his second time included in this list, which is published by Silicon Bayou News, a leading source of tech and startup news in Louisiana.

Our dynamic ecosystem is working harder than ever with our university, local, state and federal partners to become an increasingly important economic engine for Louisiana," said Mr. Kressler. Mr. Kressler is an experienced corporate finance and transactional attorney with a nationwide practice focused on advising public and private companies on a wide range of business and financing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, securities law and governance matters. He has advised clients on more than $25 billion in capital raises. His clients include multinational corporations, middle market companies, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, investment banks and high-growth startups across numerous industries, including health care, life sciences, technology, financial services, hospitality and franchise, gaming, food services, retail, entertainment and media.

A Shareholder in Baker Donelson's New Orleans office, Mr. Kressler co-chairs the Firm's Louisiana Life Sciences and Technology practice. As co-chair of this practice, he leads a team of experienced attorneys and advisors who counsel emerging and established life sciences and technology companies on corporate, finance, intellectual property, employment, public policy and other legal and business issues.

Mr. Kressler is a member of both the Firm's Diversity Committee and the New Orleans hiring committee. He is Chair of the Business Financing Committee of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He is also a member of the board of directors and executive committee of the New Orleans Business Alliance, a public-private partnership that is the official economic development organization for the city of New Orleans.

A graduate of Tulane University Law School, Mr. Kessler has served as an adjunct professor of law at the Law School since 2014. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, he practiced law in New York and London at a leading Wall Street law firm.
