Professional Biography


Mr. Brown concentrates his practice on commercial and mass tort litigation, including vendor contract and internal business disputes. He defends claims involving commercial lease and business transaction disputes in both federal and state courts.

He has successfully litigated and negotiated resolutions in complex business disputes – whether external or internal – helping clients solve problems and meet their business needs. Mr. Brown adeptly handles internal conflicts, providing strategic counsel to resolve disputes efficiently while maintaining business continuity.

Mr. Brown advises clients through all aspects of litigation and routinely provides counsel in pre-litigation matters that lead to dispute resolutions. He also has first- and second-chair experience representing clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on mass tort litigation. His experience in these cases enables him to effectively manage complex, high-stakes disputes, providing strategic counsel and achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.

  • Represented a former private investor whose investment funds were taken without receiving an interest in the investment company, eventually obtaining summary judgment in the client's favor and returning millions of dollars in unjustly retained investment funds.

  • Represented a home health care company and obtained a full dismissal of a lawsuit filed by a former contractor alleging improper termination of their employment contract without cause.

  • Represented a local trucking company in an environmental enforcement action, obtaining a favorable pre-trial settlement with no admission of guilt.

  • Assisted a chain of nursing homes successfully appeal the denial of forgiveness for their PPP COVID loans, preventing the company from having to return millions in previously approved loan funds.
