Keyne Villert is a transactional attorney who represents domestic and international clients in real estate, financing, and corporate matters.

Professional Biography


Mr. Villert advises a variety of companies on the acquisition, disposition, construction, development, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate throughout the United States. He also assists clients with corporate transactions. Prior to joining the Firm, he practiced at the New York City office of a large law firm. He also served as in-house counsel for a large title insurance underwriter, where he worked closely with clients to protect their real estate investments and facilitate the closing of transactions.

During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Hilda G. Tagle, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, and as a legal extern for the Immigrant Justice Corps.

Mr. Villert is a native French speaker.

  • Assisted a large developer with the sale of its portfolio, which included 49 commercial properties.

  • Served as local counsel to a borrower financing the purchase of multiple properties with a loan exceeding $1.2 billion.

  • Represented a company in the negotiation of an office lease at One World Trade Center.

  • Represented a public international bank in several office and retail leasing transactions and the sale of commercial properties throughout the United States.

  • Assisted a private equity real estate fund with the acquisition of 20 telecommunications facilities in several states.

  • Represented a public technology company in several leasing transactions as part of its national expansion of retail and service operations.

  • Advised a South Korean company on the purchase of membership interests and real estate due diligence.

  • Represented commercial tenants in several pre-litigation lease dispute negotiations.

  • Assisted a public automotive company with the leasing of space for the installation and operation of electric vehicle charging stations.

  • Represented real estate companies in various contract negotiations with service providers as part of the operation of multi-family, office, and mixed-use buildings.
