Mr. Geyer is an associate in the Firm's Nashville office and a member of the Real Estate Group.

He represents developers and builders in real estate transactions such as drafting purchase and sale agreements; declarations of covenants, conditions, and restrictions; commercial and residential lease agreements; and other related loan documents. He also provides guidance for homeowner and condominium associations on a range of matters, including enforcement of restrictions and interpretation of governing documents.

Mr. Geyer completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Richard Dinkins of the Tennessee Court of Appeals in Nashville, Tennessee. Before that, he clerked for the Honorable Kelvin Jones of the Davidson County Circuit Court and the Honorable Joseph A. Woodruff, Michael W. Binkley, James G. Martin III, and Deanna B. Johnson in the 21st Judicial District Circuit and Chancery Courts in Williamson County, Tennessee.

  • Represented a defense contractor in connection with a long-term lease for a manufacturing project with associated economic incentives.

  • Represented a real estate developer and affiliated entities in connection with the structuring and formation of a condominium development, including preparation of the condominium regime and related governing documents.

  • Represented a manufacturer in connection with lease documentation and negotiation related to a potential relocation to new facilities in Tennessee.

  • Represented a real estate investment trust in its $5.8 million acquisition of three health care facilities.

  • Represented a real estate investment trust in its $5 million sale of a medical office building.

  • Represented a real estate investment trust in its $30 million sale of a medical facility involving a 1031 exchange and the acquisition of a rehabilitation hospital.

  • Represented a real estate investment trust in its $11 million sale of a medical office building.

  • Represented an individual buyer in a Section 1031 exchange to acquire raw land.

  • Represented a manufacturing company in the $3 million sale of a Tennessee facility.

  • Represented a real estate investment trust in its $5.8 million acquisition of three obstetrics and gynecology health care facilities.

  • Represented a real estate investment trust in its $26.5 million acquisition of a rehabilitation hospital.
