Charlie assists The Daschle Group in working with domestic and international clients on energy, public health, trade, and social issue policies. He also leads The Daschle Group's research projects and provides strategic social media advice.
In addition to his work with The Daschle Group, Charlie serves in other roles throughout Washington, D.C. He is the youngest Member of the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund National Campaign Board, where he helps elect more LGBTQ+ legislators at all levels of government. He also sits on the Member Outreach and Engagement Committee at the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics (NILE), where he focuses on welcoming more Gen Z and LGBTQ+ people into the advocacy space. In 2017, Charlie founded one of the first Gen Z political action committees, Friends of Intelligent Democracy, which registers young people to vote and helps elect Democrats across the country that support Gen Z policies.
Charlie is currently seeking a Masters of Professional Studies in Legislative Affairs at The George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management. Additionally, Charlie interned twice for Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH-09) in 2017 and 2018.
