Baker Donelson's Patrick H. Willis Admitted to American College of Mortgage Attorneys

Patrick H. Willis, shareholder in the New Orleans office and member of the Real Estate Group for the law firm Baker Donelson, has been admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). ACMA is a prestigious organization comprising more than 500 North American attorneys who are recognized for their experience in real estate finance law. ACMA Fellows are selected by their peers based on professional excellence in mortgage law and real estate finance.

Mr. Willis focuses his practice on commercial and corporate transactions involving real estate acquisitions and financings. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting loan agreements and purchase and sale contracts for commercial and industrial properties. He has represented institutional lenders, developers, investors, and borrowers in property acquisitions, development projections, and debt financings.

Mr. Willis is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Corporate Law and Real Estate Law and has been included in Louisiana Rising Stars for Mergers & Acquisitions since 2022. He was also recently selected as a New Orleans CityBusiness 2025 Leadership in Law honoree. Mr. Willis is a member of the Louisiana and American Bar Associations, serving on the American Bar Association's Real Property, Trusts, and Estates Section and as a committee member on Legal Opinions in Real Estate Transactions, and he is a member of the New Orleans Museum.
