Baker Donelson Authorized as Top Tier Firm by NetDiligence® for Data Security, Privacy, and Incident Response

Baker Donelson has been recognized as an authorized NetDiligence Breach Coach®, signifying it as a top tier law firm for Data Security, Privacy, and Incident Response.

NetDiligence, an award-winning provider of innovative cyber risk management software and services to the insurance industry, developed the Breach Coach designation to recognize law firms that have demonstrated excellence in data security and privacy. Firms must meet NetDiligence's criteria for competency, thought leadership, industry engagement, and experience, including the requirement that the firms must handle at least 50 breach incidents per year. Breach Coach firms serve as thought leaders for the entire cyber industry.

"As businesses face more frequent and increasingly costly breaches, they want to know that the law firms they turn to for help have substantive incident response experience," said Layna Cook Rush, who leads Baker Donelson's Data Incident Response Team. "Because only an elite few law firms meet NetDiligence's stringent criteria to qualify as a Breach Coach, this designation indicates that our clients can have full confidence that Baker Donelson's team has the skills, leadership, and experience to guide them through one of the most challenging issues a business will ever face."

Baker Donelson advises clients on a full array of legal and business issues associated with data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity, including the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Data Incident Response, Data Protection for Payment Card Industry, Digital Healthcare Protection and Health Information Technology, HIPAA, and GDPR.
