Special Update: FEMA Funding of COVID-19 Costs

Webinar

As we all diligently work to overcome the tremendous financial and operational challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, members of Baker Donelson's Disaster Recovery and Government Services team are working alongside eligible public and private non-profit entities, including numerous health care providers, to address questions from FEMA and submit final claims in advance of the looming project application deadline of November 7.

During this session, members of the team will discuss the top issues that stand in the way of funding and the strategies being implemented to successfully clear the remaining hurdles, including discussion of FEMA's duplication of benefits reviews, increased operating costs denials, and how to best support claims for labor costs. The session will close with an overview of what to expect in the months ahead and how to mitigate risks to funding and support an efficient grant closeout.
