Rob Wall represents entities and individuals in complex tax matters, providing strategic counsel on federal and state tax laws to help clients minimize tax impacts on transactions and transfers. He advocates for clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and state departments of revenue, handling audits, appeals, compliance, collections, and U.S. Tax Court proceedings.
Rob also advises individuals on estate and tax planning, including succession strategies for closely held businesses and the preparation of essential documents. He regularly guides clients on issues involving tax-exempt organizations and represents businesses and individuals in structuring and acquisitions. Rob supports tax-exempt organizations with policies and corporate governance, tax reporting, state compliance, development, and operational matters.
In addition to his legal practice, Rob is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics of taxation and corporate governance and serves as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University School of Law.
