Toni Peck, an experienced health care regulatory and transactional attorney, has joined Baker Donelson's nationally recognized Health Law Group. Ms. Peck, who joins as a shareholder in the Firm's Raleigh office, is the latest addition to the Firm's expanding Research Triangle presence.
Ms. Peck's practice is focused on helping health care organizations navigate complex regulatory and transactional challenges. She advises clients on strategic transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic alignment initiatives. Her clients include academic medical centers, hospitals and health systems, physician groups, management services organizations, dental services organizations, ambulatory surgery centers, pharmacies, laboratories, telehealth providers, and behavioral health providers.
Ms. Peck also provides clients with guidance on a range of federal and state regulatory and compliance matters, including the corporate practice of medicine, the Stark Law, and federal and state Anti-Kickback Statutes.

Ms. Peck joins the Firm's growing Raleigh office, which in recent weeks has added former United States Attorney Robert J. "Bobby" Higdon Jr. and former Assistant United States Attorney John David "J.D." Koesters, who joined as shareholders, as well as former in-house counsel Warren Hicks, who joined as of counsel. Launched in 2021 with six attorneys, this location has grown to nearly 20 attorneys whose practices encompass health care, financial services, energy, commercial real estate, government enforcement and investigations, mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment, commercial and construction litigation, and general corporate advice and counsel.

She is a member of the American Health Law Association, the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association, and the North Carolina Bar Association, where she has served as chair of the Health Law Section and as a member of the Minorities in the Profession Committee. A graduate of Duke University and Wake Forest University School of Law, Ms. Peck taught high school mathematics in Philadelphia for two years as a Teach for America corps member prior to attending law school.
