Baker Donelson's Kelly M. Preteroti Named a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Kelly M. Preteroti of the law firm Baker Donelson has been named a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

Established in 1949, ACTEC is a national, non-profit association of approximately 2,400 lawyers and law professors from throughout the United States and abroad. ACTEC members (Fellows) are peer-elected on the basis of professional reputation and expertise in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning, probate, trust administration and related practice areas. The College's mission includes the improvement and reform of probate, trust and tax laws and procedures and professional practice standards.

A shareholder in the Baltimore office of Baker Donelson, Ms. Preteroti focuses her practice on fiduciary litigation and resolution of estate and trust disputes. She regularly represents corporate and individual fiduciaries and beneficiaries in trust and estate-related disputes. She has a national fiduciary litigation practice, handling matters throughout the Firm's footprint.

Ms. Preteroti is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, an elected member of the Maryland Bar Association Estates & Trusts Section and Estates & Trusts Law Section Council, and an elected member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City Estates & Trusts Committee. She is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Litigation – Trusts and Estates and is listed in Maryland Super Lawyers in the area of Estate & Trust Litigation. Ms. Preteroti is licensed in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Florida.
