Baker Donelson Continues Atlanta Growth with Commercial Litigator Kristin S. Tucker

Baker Donelson has added Kristin S. Tucker as of counsel in the Firm's Atlanta office, where she joins the Commercial Litigation Group. An experienced commercial litigator, Ms. Tucker represents businesses and individuals in complex, high-stakes disputes, with particular experience in partnership and minority shareholder disputes, contract and business tort claims, real estate litigation, and intellectual property matters.

"Kristin brings a versatile litigation practice and significant experience representing clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes," said Marcus M. Maples, chair of Baker Donelson's Commercial Litigation Group. "Her ability to understand both the legal and business considerations driving a dispute makes her an excellent addition to our team and further strengthens the depth of our commercial litigation capabilities."

Ms. Tucker joins Baker Donelson as the Firm continues to grow its Atlanta office. Her arrival follows the recent addition of labor and employment attorney Cheryl A. Geiser, who joined the Atlanta office earlier this month.

Throughout her career, Ms. Tucker has represented clients in complex disputes involving contracts, business torts, partnership and shareholder matters, real estate, trade secrets, and other intellectual property issues. She has litigated matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts and has represented clients in disputes involving significant financial exposure and complex legal and factual issues.

"Great litigation counsel requires more than knowing the law; it requires understanding the client's business, the facts driving the dispute, and what a successful outcome actually looks like for that client," said Ms. Tucker. "That has always been central to my approach to practicing law. Baker Donelson's collaborative culture, deep bench of talented attorneys, and commitment to client service make this an exciting opportunity to expand what I can offer my clients while contributing to the continued growth of the Firm's Atlanta office."

Ms. Tucker earned her B.A. from Agnes Scott College, where she graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she received a merit scholarship. Ms. Tucker is a graduate of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy and the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy at Stanford University.
