Stumped by Trump? Employment Law Under the New Administration

November 16, 2017

Location:

Baker Donelson Center
211 Commerce Street
First Floor Special Events Center
Nashville, Tennessee

Date/Time:

November 16, 2017
8:00 AM - 9:30 AM Central

The Obama Administration succeeded in enacting many pro-employee changes through legislation, regulations, and executive orders. From equal pay, LGBTQ rights, tip pooling, safety regulations, and overtime, the Obama-era employment law changes had a profound impact on the requirements of employers and the rights of employees. This was also coupled with aggressive and expansive agendas from the DOL, EEOC, and NLRB. The workplace regulatory landscape under the Trump Administration will likely be significantly different.

This seminar will discuss the employment law changes made under the Trump Administration to date and the prospect of changes yet to come. We will discuss everything from the current state of the overtime law to the new agendas for the DOL, EEOC, and NLRB. This seminar will answer any questions you may have about your requirements under the law today.
