"Fireworks" in July 2016 – The Final DOL Overtime Regs Are Coming!

July 2016 – that's when the final white collar overtime regulations are expected to be published, according to the federal Office of Management and Budget. Although this may change, it is the first definitive date we have seen from the government since the July 2015 announcement that it intends to more than double the salary threshold from $23,660 to $50,440 for employees to qualify for exemption from overtime and minimum wage requirements. The new regulations will pose unique challenges for higher education institutions.

Dena Sokolow will lead this webinar and address those challenges. She will discuss ways that colleges and universities should be preparing for the final overtime rules and which higher education positions are most likely to be affected by the changes.
