Baker Donelson Adds WitFoo to Cybersecurity Accelerator

The Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator announces its latest participant with the addition of WitFoo, Inc., a provider of information security solutions for incident responders.

WitFoo is built by cybersecurity professionals desiring to mature the craft of incident response. Through hundreds of hours of user research of investigators and analysts and combining time-tested approaches from law enforcement, WitFoo Precinct was created. Precinct reduces the required labor hours for performing security investigations by more than 90 percent while providing detailed metrics on tools and operations that can effectively drive and validate change.

"The Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator program brings WitFoo an outstanding opportunity to take our business to the next level," said WitFoo Chief Executive Officer Tim Bradford. "We're proud to be a part of a program that is so uniquely positioned to leverage the many benefits Atlanta offers as a thriving cyber ecosystem."

Justin Daniels, the co-chair of the Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator and Baker Donelson's Atlanta Emerging Companies Group, added, "The addition of WitFoo as our newest participant speaks to the truly exceptional position this city holds as a global cybersecurity capital. That position was on full display last week during the inaugural Atlanta Cyber Week. Anchored by the third annual Cybercon and the first annual National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC) CISO Policy Conference, Atlanta Cyber Week created an opportunity for meaningful interaction between growth-oriented cybersecurity companies and the region's Fortune 1000 client base."

WitFoo joins the current participants in the accelerator:

  • Gyomo, a provider of a novel crowdsourcing + gamification + machine learning approach for protecting companies from phishing attacks;
  • Authomate, a provider of a patented, cloud-based identity, and access management solution that is accessed via a smartphone application; and
  • RaceIQ, which offers cybersecurity software for the automotive market to detect and mitigate vehicle data hacks, malware, and virus uploads.
