The Family Medical Leave Act (the "FMLA") and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (the "ADAAA") are both complex laws, and both can create difficult legal issues for employers.  How should an employee be treated if they are unable to return to work at the expiration of their protected leave period?  Similarly, in this situation what is required for an employer to satisfy the requirement that it engage in the ADAAA’s required interactive process?  Join us as we explore these and other similar questions connected with the FMLA, the ADAAA and other laws implicated in the administration of employee leaves of absence.
