Randy Staggers Named Baker Donelson's Chief Financial and Administration Officer

Baker Donelson has added Randy Staggers as the Firm's Chief Financial and Administration Officer.

As CFAO, Mr. Staggers is responsible for directing all aspects of Baker Donelson's accounting and financial operations as well as human resources across the Firm's 22 offices in ten states and Washington, D.C. He assumes this role from James M. Hughes, who is retiring after serving 28 years as the Firm's executive director.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Mr. Staggers was a partner at Baker Tilly, a full-service accounting and advisory firm, where he built a risk advisory practice focusing on process improvement, internal controls, risk management, and internal audit. His previous experience also includes serving as senior vice president of Financial Operations and Administrative Services at Highmark Health, where he directed numerous financial, operational and procurement efforts. Mr. Staggers was also a partner at the global professional services firm of Ernst & Young, where he led the firm's risk advisory practices strategy and business plans for both the Southwest and North Central areas and played a key role in multiple initiatives with an emphasis on innovation and operational efficiencies.

Mr. Staggers is a graduate of Westminster College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in business administration.
