Mr. Johnson assists financial institutions and non-bank financing parties in structuring lending and leasing transactions, including equipment finance, synthetic leases, finance leases, and commercial real estate transactions. He works closely with a team of attorneys and legal professionals who all have experience in the financing of a variety of collateral.
While attending law school, Mr. Johnson served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Judge Joseph Getty of the Maryland Court of Appeals. Before law school, Mr. Johnson was an assistant with the General Services Administration in Washington, D.C. where he helped facilitate agency response to the COVID-19 pandemic by coordinating pandemic planning meetings. He also provided oversight and served as an advance representative on speeches and official appearances, and he planned and coordinated logistic operations for the administrator. Mr. Johnson also previously served as a law clerk at Baker Donelson.
