Baker Donelson has added Sloane J. Hankins to the Firm's Memphis office as a member of the Tax Group.
Ms. Hankins joins as of counsel and represents clients in a broad range of tax matters, including trust and estate planning, income tax planning and estate administration. She assists clients on entity formation and organization, business transactions, agreements and contracts, and business succession. Ms. Hankins' practice also focuses on tax-exempt issues. She works with non-profits and closely held businesses on legal issues including formation, restructuring, board governance, acquisition of property, revisions of gift restriction and other matters.
Ms. Hankins is a member of the Taxation Section of the Tennessee, Mississippi and American Bar Associations, and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Memphis Bar Association. In 2018, she was named a finalist in the Memphis Business Journal's "Best of the Bar" list in the Private Firm category.
