Workplace violence is a growing concern for employers.  Nearly two million Americans are victims of workplace violence each year.  These incidents can occur at the place of employment or elsewhere.  For employers, the best course of action is to have a plan of action – even if you never use it.
 
This program will cover:

  • How to identify common physical threats encountered in the workplace and potential causes;
  • How to develop a comprehensive plan to address workplace violence and
  • Legal risks resulting from workplace violence, including incidents involving guns

Continuing Education Credit:
This program has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review.
