China is Tennessee's third largest export market and Chinese investment in Tennessee grows each year. As a result Tennessee companies are facing significant opportunities and intercultural communication challenges in doing business with China.

Please join the Confucius Institute at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, the Knoxville-U.S. Export Assistance Center, and the TN-China Network for a training and panel discussion on China Business Intercultural Communication.

During this event we will discuss:

  • Chinese business protocol and etiquette in meetings and banquets
  • Tips for understanding and navigating differing interpersonal communication tendencies
  • Actual intercultural communication challenges and opportunities faced by Tennessee companies
