(Memphis, TN/October 4, 2012) George T. "Buck" Lewis of the law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, has been named Chair of the Mid-South Chapter of the American Red Cross.
A shareholder in the Firm's Memphis office, Mr. Lewis served as President of the Tennessee Bar Association from June 2008 through June 2009. In March 2012, he was appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court to chair the Tennessee Access to Justice Commission. He served as President of the Memphis Bar Foundation from 2004 to 2005. Mr. Lewis has twice been named to the Honor Roll of the American Bar Association Torts and Insurance Practice Section.
