Employment lawsuits are costly and time-consuming for employers. A federal court lawsuit often includes an EEOC Charge and response, followed by an extensive discovery period and motion practice prior to a trial. State court lawsuits typically do not have the same rigorous scheduling deadlines as federal cases and can drag on indefinitely if not handled with care. As most employers know, however, it makes good business sense to litigate some cases all the way through trial.

What can you do to prepare your organization for the inevitable employment related lawsuit? How can you control litigation costs? Are there proactive strategies that can place your organization in a better position to defend those cases you decide to take all the way through trial? Can you take steps now to reduce the risk of future litigation? Join us for the answers to these questions and more in How Long is This Lawsuit Going to Last?.
