Mass shootings are unfortunately becoming more common in the United States. Simultaneously, state gun regulations are evolving, often expanding the laws around the right to carry, conceal, and purchase guns. Employers want to implement certain safety policies, but these policies may conflict with state gun regulations.
Employers need a detailed blueprint to guide personnel through the steps they can take to respond to an active shooter in a safe and effective way, as well as how to draft safety policies that are legally compliant. This presentation will identify the tools that will best prepare employers for these difficult situations and ensure that their employees are protected.
