Freeman B. Foster, who previously served as a senior assistant city attorney for the City of Memphis, has joined Baker Donelson as of counsel in the Firm's Memphis office and a member of the Health Care Litigation Group.
Mr. Foster is experienced in a variety of areas, including tort and civil rights defense, municipal law, and employment law. During his tenure with the City of Memphis, he represented the city in state and federal litigation. In 2013, Mr. Foster was appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court to serve on the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners' Investigating Committee, and in 2015, he was recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court as an Attorney for Justice.
A graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law, Mr. Foster is a member of the Memphis and Tennessee Bar Associations and the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association.
