Baker Donelson Ranked Among Vault's Top Ten "Best Law Firms to Work For"

Earns #1 Ranking in Transparency

(Memphis, Tennessee / July 23, 2013) Baker Donelson has been ranked among the top ten law firms in the country in the 2014 edition of Vault, Inc.'s "Best Law Firms to Work For." This prominent national ranking is based on feedback from thousands of law firm associates across the country who were asked to rate their law firms on a number of quality-of-life categories.

In its fourth year to participate in the annual survey, Baker Donelson achieved a ranking of tenth in the overall Best Law Firms to Work For list. The Firm also achieved a first place ranking in the category of Transparency, and achieved rankings among the top five law firms nationally in the categories of Formal Training (third place) and Informal Training and Mentoring (fifth place).

"Our Firm's culture is deeply rooted in the belief that having a positive work environment is essential to everyone being able to serve our clients to the best of their abilities," said Ben C. Adams, Baker Donelson's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Our continued inclusion in these Vault rankings reflects Baker Donelson's commitment to providing our associates with the training, guidance and support to be the best lawyers they can be."

Baker Donelson is consistently recognized as an exceptional workplace. Earlier this year, the law firm was ranked 45th on FORTUNE magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" list, in its fourth consecutive year to be included in this prestigious listing. The Firm has also been recognized by the Atlanta Journal Constitution's "Top Workplaces in Atlanta" and Business Alabama's "Best Companies to Work for in Alabama," and has been named to "Best Places to Work" lists in Birmingham, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; New Orleans, Louisiana; Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee; Jackson, Mississippi; and Houston, Texas.
