Tom Daschle Comments on "Healthy Congress Index Report" in USA Today

In this USA Today article, Tom Daschle discusses the second quarter "Healthy Congress Index," produced by the nonpartisan Bipartisan Policy Center. The report shows small increases compared to recent Congresses in the number of working days in the House and Senate, the number of amendments that received Senate consideration and the number of bills being reported out of committee.

"There is still a lot of work to be done, but the trend is moving a direction where the American people should take notice," said Senator Daschle.
