The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) is now offering the state's first and only energy revolving loan program for existing industries with $50 million still remaining in the program's revolving fund.  Join Baker Donelson attorneys Kevin Garrison and Vinnie Nelan, along with featured speakers, Kathy Hornsby of ADECA and Natasha Herting of Abundant Power, as they discuss how your business can benefit from the AlabamaSAVES program and its one percent financing opportunities.

Topics include:

  • Green building opportunities for property managers/owners, bankers, contractors, engineers, architects and vendors;
  • Access to American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds through interest rate buydowns or direct loans;
  • How an Alabama sawmill used the program to lower its energy consumption by 24 percent in its headquarters and 12 percent in its mill; and
  • Alternative programs for those who are debt averse to maximize the energy efficiency of existing systems and upgrades.

Program, breakfast and parking are complimentary. Space is limited for this event.
