Tis the season! With Halloween behind us, it is that "special" time of year. In Mississippi, that means holiday parties and hunting, both of which have special implications in the workplace. During this briefing, we will discuss the best practices for office parties and for handling our avid hunting, gun-toting employees (and customers). Holiday party topics to be discussed include sexual harassment, hostile work environment and religious accommodations; topics for our hunters include guns in the workplace and workplace violence as well as Mississippi's "king of the castle" and open carry laws.
Continuing Education Credit:
This program is pending CLE credit approval in the state of Mississippi. This program has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review.
